Experience and Knowledge Gained

Many valuable experiences and knowledge that I have gained through my training such as:

1.      Experience of teamwork and development of interpersonal skills

My ability to work in a team and with other colleagues around me is essential in every type of job. In a work environment this involves a different set of skills and challenges that i will be used to in any kind of situation whenever it is needed no matter what is the situation.

An internship will allow me to gain experience of this first hand and develop my own teamwork and interpersonal skills which will make me a more rounded and attractive candidate for any employer.

2.      Apply Classroom Knowledge

An internship can be seen as the pinnacle of my undergraduate education and give me the chance to use the skills I’ve learned in the classroom in a real-world setting. It’s a chance to prove the worth of my qualifications and to show that i can perform in the role I’ve been given.

3.      Gain Confidence

Getting experience is a great way to build my confidence. What's more, if i have an impressive resume, I will be more confident in my chances of securing a job. After I’ve done an internship, if an interviewer asks if i know how to do something, i won’t say “um, yes, I think I would be able to do that but can say “absolutely” and supplement my assertion with example.
